
Alain St Ange studied Hotel Management and Tourism in Germany and France. He has worked in Hotels and Restaurants in Seychelles, the Channel Islands and Australia respectively. He is presently the Chief Executive Officer of the Seychelles Tourism Board. Alain served as Chairman and Vice Chairman of the Seychelles Hospitality & Tourism Association for many years, and is also a Board Member of Seychelles Civil Aviation Authority. He has represented Seychelles and promoted its tourism potential at several international forums. He is also a well known politician and writer having published the Political History Books "SEYCHELLES, WHAT NEXT?" in 1991 and "SEYCHELLES, THE CRY OF A PEOPLE" in 2007 as well as co-publishing "SEYCHELLES, IN SEARCH OF DEMOCRACY" in 2005. He was the directly elected Member of the People's Assembly for the La Digue Constituency in 1979 and of the National Assembly for Bel Air Constituency in 2002.
